Nov. 10th, The Keystone Theatre is excited to welcome versatile vocalist and saxophonist Erich Cawalla & His All-Star Quartet featuring Harrisburg legend Steve Rudolph on Piano, Reading legend Bennie Sims on Bass, and Penn State Jazz Chair and former Maynard Ferguson Drummer Marko Marcinko. Erich performs throughout the US and just recently released his debut solo CD " Erich Cawalla - The Great American Songbook" via Chicago-based BluJazz. Featured artists on the album include Grammy-Winner Randy Brecker on Trumpet and Violin Virtuoso Karen Briggs as well as a 26-Piece Traditional Big Band & Orchestra. Songs from the album are receiving airplay throughout the world.
Erich is also bandleader with his popular group, The Uptown Band. They just recently won the award for "Best Variety Band" at this year's Central PA Music Awards.
